Commercial Appraisals

Eminent Domain
Eminent domain is the act whereby private land can be acquired for the public good. Law requires that there be "just compensation" for the acquisition and the determination of just compensation is typically based on an appraisal. The A.R. Martin Company has extensive experience in eminent domain valuation for highway projects, electric transmission right of way, water and sewer line right of way and airport expansion.
Litigation
The A.R. Martin Company has provided hundreds of appraisals for attorneys representing a variety of clients including public agencies, quasi-public agencies and private individuals who may be involved in eminent domain condemnation actions, construction lawsuits or a mitigation between parties.
